If you are a worker with an injury related problem, or if you came here to get help with a personal compensation claim, you are in the right place.

The Office of the Worker Counsellor offers advice to injured workers, their representatives in the workplace and their family members on all aspects of workers’ compensation in Nova Scotia.

Staff members are available to help both unionized and non-unionized workers. The Office of the Worker Counsellor offers advice through phone calls, in person and in written responses.

Workers and their representatives can get information about the Workers’ Compensation system and Occupational Health and Safety. The staff members can help to interpret the Workers’ Compensation Act and the regulations and policies.

These services are offered free of charge.
